Kneady Livin’ is committed to producing fun and original baking-related content — content that’s not only engaging but also factually accurate, helpful, and relevant to readers.
My goal is to entertain, educate, and foster a community of like-minded baking enthusiasts who enjoy learning new techniques and trying out products to improve their baking skills.
All content on Kneady Livin’ abides by four key principles:
- Balanced: Content should consider various perspectives, options, and budgets and be accessible to readers of all backgrounds and baking skill levels.
- Authentic: Content should be accurate, factual, and well researched, with real, honest experiences, reviews, and opinions.
- Knowledgeable: Content should be informative and helpful to readers, ultimately increasing their knowledge on a particular topic.
- Engaging: Content should be well written, easily digestible, and overall interesting, with unique viewpoints and original writing.
Experience & Authority
As founder of Kneady Livin’, I have a decade of experience writing and editing digital content, most notably in the education field. I have also been a hobby baker for several years and enjoy testing baking equipment, techniques, and recipes whenever I get the chance.
While I am not a professional baker, I do my best to incorporate, where relevant, real opinions and advice from established bakery owners, cottage bakers, baking influencers, and other experts in the baking and food space.
When quoting an expert or other source, I always try to provide a direct link to the interviewee’s professional website and/or social media account. I also include bios for interviewees on the posts on which they’re quoted so readers can learn more about the experts and what makes their perspectives valuable.
Product Reviews
Any products or services I recommend are either directly tested by me or evaluated using a combination of research, customer reviews, and expert opinions and insights.
I only recommend products and services I truly believe in, whether I’ve tested them myself or have determined, through extensive research, that readers should consider buying them.
I do not accept money in exchange for writing a positive review of a product or service.
Some product reviews and posts contain affiliate links, which may earn me a commission when a visitor purchases something through that link (at no additional cost to the visitor). This is explicitly disclosed at the top of any such post.
More details on how I make money from this site can be found in my Advertising Policy.
Artificial Intelligence Tools
AI may be the new norm, but I have a strict policy on how and when I use it. At Kneady Livin’, all content is written, fact-checked, edited, and published by a human (me, unless otherwise noted).
AI tools, such as ChatGPT, are only used sporadically for ideation and research — never to write original baking content or fact-check claims.
(Side note: I promise I’m just a fan of em dashes and not a robot.)
Photo Use
Unless otherwise noted, all photographs on Kneady Livin’ were either taken by me or provided through Canva. I do not use AI-generated photos anywhere on this site.
