Hi there! I’m Hannah, founder of Kneady Livin’ — a simple blog focusing on baking tips, trends, and reviews, for everyday baking enthusiasts like myself.
I’ve enjoyed baking and eating baked goods since I was a kid, but it wasn’t until my husband, Matt, and I moved closer to family at the start of the pandemic that I finally began treating baking as a more serious endeavor.
It started with volunteering to bake cakes for friends’ and family members’ birthdays. With each culinary project, Matt and I spent more time researching baking hacks, practicing our crumb coats, visiting the local cake supplies shop, and buying tools we’d never even heard of, like cake levelers and flower nails.
In summer 2022, I enrolled in a cake decorating class at a nearby community college so I could learn techniques directly from a professional and continue honing my baking chops.
Now, a few years later, I can’t imagine my life without baking — and all the fun tools, recipes, and failures (yes, even those!) that come with it.
While my goal is to eventually open a home-based baking business, for now baking will stay a beloved hobby — one I’d like to share with the world and use to inspire others.
I hope through this website, you and every other hobby baker who enjoys creating (and eating!) tasty treats as much as I do will continue to grow on your baking journey, wherever it may lead you.
